Ease Into Dream Time

"Tell me three things." When my husband and I have climbed into bed, he is usually the first to say it. It is a device he created. One of us will begin by relating an event or moment in the day that they appreciate. It can be a brief description or a longer tale, and it ends with "and that's my #1". Then it is the other's turn. Sometimes the event was one that the other witnessed, now described from the one perspective. Even when it is not, by the time they have both said "and that's my #3," each is now a part of the other's happiest moments. And the last thoughts of the day are of good times now shared. A perfect way to ease into dream time.
