I have been married almost 25 years and my most valuable advice is to NEVER put your husband down. Don't name call and don't disrespect him, especially in front of your kids or with your friends. Yes, you can confide in a friend if you are having struggles but don't name call or say anything that would embarrass him.
Remember, husbands as well as children live up to our expectations.
Instead of criticizing, compliment all the good things he does for you, like working hard for your family, taking care of the yard, or just reading a book with the kids.
Marriage is forever, it can be a blessing or a curse but it's up to YOU!
